DigiFashTech x AMFI Next

On 1 July, the Green DigiFashTech Manager Erasmus+ consortium was delighted to present our project at AMFI NEXT—our education partner’s annual event—where education, research, industry, and creativity came together to look ahead to the future of fashion.

A major highlight was the launch of our DigiFashHub—a new learning and citizen engagement environment created to help students, educators and professionals build the green and digital skills needed for the fashion industry of tomorrow.

From the AMFI NEXT student exhibitions, we were particularly inspired by the outstanding graduation presentations by students in the Master of Digital Design, Digital Fashion Technology track. From AI and blockchain to 3D and virtual fashion, the projects demonstrated how the next generation of designers is blending creativity, technology, and innovation to tackle real challenges in the fashion industry through collaboration with industry partners.

It was a pleasure to connect with so many students, educators, researchers, graduates, and industry professionals. The engaging conversations, thoughtful questions, and valuable feedback on our project deliverables—especially the DigiFashHub platform—reinforced how essential collaboration is in shaping the future of sustainable and digital fashion.
