Bridging Fashion & Technology: What to Expect at the Start of 2026

The global fashion industry is rapidly entering a new era—one where creativity, data, and digital innovation converge. As 2026 approaches, two major initiatives are setting the tone for how fashion and technology will collaborate, inspire, and evolve.

CIFF & Delogue Launch “TechCreate – a CIFF Collaboration”

Northern Europe’s leading fashion trade fair, CIFF, has partnered with Danish technology company Delogue to launch “TechCreate – a CIFF collaboration”—a forward-looking initiative designed to deepen the integration of fashion and technology across platforms, processes, and creative disciplines.

The innovation hub will debut at CIFF 66, taking place in Copenhagen from 27–29 January 2026. It will bring together fashion brands, technology providers, and creative professionals in a dynamic environment showcasing how digital tools, sustainability data, and optimized workflows are reshaping design and production.

The initiative is built around core pillars:

  • A physical collaboration zone at CIFF 66, where visitors can engage with live demonstrations, talks, and interactive showcases;
  • A CIFF Media Series, extending the conversation through interviews, trend insights, and thought leadership focused on the future of fashion technology.

This partnership reflects a shared vision: technology is not merely a support tool, but a key driver of creativity, sustainability, and long-term industry transformation.

The Fashion Tech Show Europe 2026

Continuing the momentum of fashion tech innovation, The Fashion Tech Show Europe 2026, hosted by PI, will take place in London on 30–31 March 2026.

Evolving from the influential PI Apparel Europe format, the event will serve as a dedicated platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies in fashion. Designers, digital leaders, and industry innovators will gather to explore how digital transformation—spanning AI, digital product creation, circular design, and future skill development—is shaping the fashion ecosystem of tomorrow.

With expert speakers and carefully curated sessions, the show will focus on practical applications of technology that enhance creativity, accelerate workflows, and enable more sustainable and scalable fashion practices.

What This Means for Fashion Innovation

Together, CIFF’s collaboration with Delogue and The Fashion Tech Show Europe signal a broader industry shift: the future of fashion lies in embracing technology as a creative partner. From immersive trade-fair experiences to strategic thought-leadership platforms, the industry is redefining itself at the intersection of design, data, and digital innovation.

Stay tuned as these initiatives continue to deliver new insights, tools, and opportunities for the global fashion community—wherever creativity and technology converge.
